Gabb Wireless provides kid safe smartphones and watches to nearly 300,000 children in the US. The company’s mission is to keep kids connected to their families, while also protecting them from harmful content and screen-time addiction. Gabb’s custom Android operating system allows kids to make and receive phone calls and text messages, but doesn’t allow access to the internet or social media.
As protection is a top priority at Gabb, they built a solution to filter out unwanted SMS messages from reaching Gabb devices, but they could not stop unwanted calls. The company needed a solution beyond “parental controls” that could not be overridden by tech-savvy kids. Gabb turned to Hiya Protect for spam and fraud call protection across all Gabb Wireless devices.
