Hiya Inc., (“Hiya"Company" or "We") as the controller of your personal information and personal data respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through this policy.

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the Hiya website, hiya.com (our "Website"). This policy also describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Children Under the Minimum Age

The Minimum Age may vary from country to country. Our Website is not intended for children under the Minimum Age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the Minimum Age. Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Following the European Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, we have reviewed our existing SCCs and also adopted additional measures to ensure compliance with the new requirements regarding international data transfers arising out of the above decision.  July 17, 2023, the European Commission issued an adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), at this moment we do not hold this certification.  

Information Retention Period

We retain your information only for so long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, after which it will be deleted or archived except to the extent that it is necessary for us to continue to process it for the purpose of legal compliance obligations or another lawful purpose.
