The IRS has now hired collection agencies to call you, demanding you pay the money you owe in taxes, reports NBC 2.
“In a money-saving move, Congress now requires the IRS to use collection agencies to round up debt rather than leave it to the IRS. But you won’t receive a single phone call without getting several letters first,” they explain.
