As much as we have come to believe millennials are technologically smart and savvy, guess what? They’re not! Reports have shown that millennials have become an easy target to a number of scammers.
“Plenty of millennials have eliminated or never had a landline, meaning they’re relying wholly on a mobile number, entering it on countless forms, possibly even on their own website or social media pages,” reports NBC News.
According to Hiya’s Jan Volzke, when you share your number on websites like Craigslist, it only take 12 to 24 hours before you start getting robocalls (which is an all too familiar habit with millennials.)
